“ Im met three friends there for dinner before a show at the Fox and the Ramen was very good. Service was a bit slow. ”
“ Crazy good food! This little place was so cozy and our waiter took the time to tell us about the art and the story behind it. The food was incredible and rich. Would definitely come back. ”
“ Grabbed a seat close to Closing but didnt feel any pressure to rush my meal. The sloppy style gyoza was unique. Miso ramen was classic. Strawberry mochi were exceptionally good. ”
“ Overall, it was a great experience. My wife decided to bring me here for Ramen I never had ramen other than instant noodles. I loved it and would highly recommend it. The only thing that was bad was the lack of parking. Other than that, the food and service were A1. ”
“ Its my first time here at Itani Ramen, and one of the first things that I notice is the nice atmosphere theyve set up for decorations. It reminds me so much of the ramen shops Ive visited during the Ramen Festival in Japan. The unique option of oxtail ramen piqued my appetite, and I must say that the meal did not disappoint. The broth is clean and clear with a subtle robustness that gently caresses the perfectly cooked noodles accompanied by the meltinyourmouth umami of the slowbraised oxtail. Another unique topping is the addition of cubed sweet potatoes that I enjoyed as well. Of course, I would be remiss if I didnt add an extra topping of chashu to my bowl, as well as an extra order of noodles to go with it. It all balances the perfect amount of protein to noodles ratio in my generous serving. As a side dish, I ordered a 5pc gyoza, which you can either have as sloppy deep fried with extra green onions or yaku traditional griddled and steamed, a perfect accompaniment to my ramen bowl. I highly recommend this place for all ramen lovers alike. Would definitely go back to try out their donburi rice bowls options next. ”
“ One of the best restaurants in Downtown Oakland and local secrets for best ramen in the Bay. Marufuku is typically much busier so you might have to wait, this place is right next to the Fox so great place to eat before a show. Appetizers are all solid too not overpriced at all. ”
“ Mmmmmm yowza absolutely delicious. Amazing menu selections and curation, love the hand rolls !! Highly recommend ”
“ From out of town, first time here. Nice place, lots of diners which made us about comfortable trying it. The miso pork ramen was excellent. Beautiful broth, melt in your mouth pork and the egg was done perfectly. Our server Caleb was excellent too. Quick wit to him and he made us feel at home. ”
